Join Starry Skies North, Darkskies Wisconsin, Arrowhead Astronomical Society, and others in celebrating our night sky! Activities will occur throughout the week at varying times, starting off with a star party at Barker's Island Friday September 21st and ending Friday September 27th with another star party at Hartley Nature Center. Other events during the week include children's activities at the Great Lakes Aquarium; presentations by photographer Travis Novitsky, author Bob King book signing, and art discussion by local Ojibwe artist Sam Zimmerman all at Fitger's; free planetarium show at Alworth Planetarium UMD; and trivia!
All events will take place in Duluth. For more information, and to register for events, visit starryskiesnorth.org. Registration is encouraged but not required.
