Chloe Briggs graduated from CSB/SJU in 2011 and received her Master's in Art and Humanities from The University of Dundee in Dundee, Scotland in 2017. Chloe Briggs' figural paintings explore ideas of perception and identity. Feminine figures set in vast spaces ask us to confront the in-between: the distinction between space and non-space, place and non-place, truth and possibility. They ask us to confront the things we use to define ourselves, while the white space holds a place to break away from these ties.
