Come on out to Olivia, MN for some hometown fun at the Corn Capital! Our events include a parade, street dance, food vendors, local merchandise vendors, live band, fly-in breakfast, family fun night, sweet corn feed, corn-lympics and more! Come for the Corn! Stay for the fun!
In 1961 Bob Rauenhorst, a key figure from Trojan Seed Company, and the origination point for the city's legacy as the Corn Capital of Minnesota, declared Renville County the best at raising corn and proposed a parade called Corn Capital Days to celebrate it.
