Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in the half marathon, 10K, 5K and youth run on Saturday September 6 in Detroit Lakes.
It's the 30th year of the Dick Beardsley Races! Meet the legendary runner Dick Beardsley at the Friday 6 pm pasta feed at the Detroit Lakes Pavilion, 1361 Washington Avenue.
Entertainment at the pasta feed by Dick Beardsley and hear inspirational speaker and marathon legend Bill Rodgers.
Race registration is Friday at the pasta feed. The half marathon race time is 8 am Saturday. After the races on Saturday, join the party with music in the City Park from 10 am-6 pm with American Mojo (Tom Petty Tribute Band), Minnesota Alt-Country Star Clayton Ryan, Montana dance/rock/disco band Desperate Electric.
