Our curiosity moves us forward into the unknown, where a vast and beautiful wilderness is waiting to be discovered. In this large-screen expedition, find out what it means to be at home in the wild. Guiding the journey are three trailblazers — Chickasaw astronaut John Herrington, Alaskan bush pilot and youth advocate Ariel Tweto, and long-distance hiker Jennifer Pharr Davis — who share a passion for connecting people to experiences in the wild. 

Featured as part of the Science Museum’s Omnifest and narrated by Morgan Freeman, Into America's Wild takes viewers on a cross-country journey to some of the most beautiful but little-known landscapes of North America. From the wilds of Alaska and the lush coastline of Oregon to the ancient canyons of the Southwest and the rolling hills of the Appalachian Trail, this nonstop adventure via kayak, train, bike, hot air balloon and other thrilling vehicles explores the transformational allure of wild places and the human connection we all share with the natural world.
