Judy Garland Festival 2025

Our goal is to promote arts, culture and accessibility throughout Grand Rapids!

Throughout the weekend at the museum:

· A Night at the museum: Who Stole the Ruby Slippers Mystery Dinner

· Judy’s “Joyride” Party Bus with local stops along the way

· Guided museum tours, presenters and activities highlighting 50 years of Judy and the history of our museum

· Judy Bingo at Klockow Brewing with a performance from Marjie Shrimpton

FREE COMMUNITY EVENT AT YANMAR ARENA

SATURDAY JUNE 21ST

“Mobility Mania – Accessibility for All” attempts Guinness World Record – The most wheelchairs dancing to “Over the Rainbow” accompanied by Itasca Orchestra. We need over 250 wheelchairs to make this happen. Come one, come all to support this incredible effort!

· Wizard of Oz Carnival with bounce house, games, characters, music, and food

· Marjie Shrimpton sings Judy on stage after the big attempt

· First ever Laser Lightshow by LaserEncore
