The annual Laskiainen Finnish Sliding Festival returns on the first weekend of February with an ice sliding hill, Finnish baked goods, saunas, and more!
The festival is a Finnish tradition that has been taking place in Palo on the Iron Range for over eighty years. The ice slide jettisons event goers onto the frozen surface of Loon Lake. Sleds are available for attendees at no charge.
