About

Montgomery's 25th annual Silver Celebration 2000-2025. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Event runs Noon to 4 p.m. Admission: Adults $5, Children under age 15 Free.
Featuring the St. Paul Czech and Slovak Adult Folk Dancers and George's Concertina Band. Costume Ball with prized awarded. Silent Auction 12:30-3:30
Masopust King coronation. Czech Bakery & Merchandise. Czech Food Available Noon to 3:30 p.m. Cash Bar including Czechvar beer.
A short version of the traditional Masopust skit will be performed with Montgomery's Mayor granting permission to the villagers to party as they say
"good-bye to meat" for the Lenten season. Honored guest will be Marit Lee Kucera, Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic for MN, IA, ND, and SD.
