The annual Minnesota Salsa Fiesta returns to Mill City Museum with an evening of music, dancing, food, and more! Experience the one night of the year the Museum is transformed into an incredible concert venue.

OUTDOORS: Enjoy live music from 6 pm to 10 pm in the Ruin Courtyard. Two stages will be built above the historic turbine pits. One stage will feature top Twin Cities salsa talent with guest artists from Miami and Chicago. The second stage will showcase professional dancers and salsa team ensembles. A free salsa lesson will be offered as part of the evening’s festivities.

INDOORS: Vendors will offer an array of Latino food, beverages, and artisan crafts. Visual artists from Soluna Arts will energize the space with vibrant colors and imagery inspired by salsa music and dance.

Salsa Fiesta will feature multiple ensembles including a 20-piece salsa orchestra with horn section, string section, coro singers, and overflowing percussion. Featured styles will include raw rumba, classic danzón, and modern timba. ¡Qué Rico!

At 10 pm live music concludes outdoors but indoors Salsa Fiesta will continue with an after party DJ spinning merengue, bachata, and other Latin favs. Festivities will end at 11 pm. Admission to the After Party is included with the ticket to the main event.

In advance of Salsa Fiesta free salsa lessons will be offered to the public from 11 am to noon in the Ruin Courtyard on Saturdays, June 20, and June 27. The lessons will coincide with Saturday’s Mill City Farmers Market and additionally the Stone Arch Bridge Festival on Saturday, June 20.
