About
Taking place over two days, over Mother's Day Weekend, this sound and performance installation will include site-specific poetry, nature photography, and live performances by roving members of the Free Range Orchestra.
Featuring a spatial symphony by composer JG Everest, playing through over 30 small wireless speakers throughout the park space, each playing a different part of the whole piece of music. With site-specific poetry by a cohort of local writers, led by poet and storyteller Rosetta "Rosie" Peters. A family-friendly "feast for the senses!"
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
