About
Night Trains® season is back for the 2025-2026 season! Enjoy this unique holiday tradition at the Twin City Model Railroad Museum from November through February.
What is Night Trains?
The museum’s collection of model trains of all scales and toy trains of yesteryear come alive throughout the Museum. Night Trains Season magic begins as the lights are turned down and the buildings and streetlights glow warmly, setting the scene for specially lighted models of operating vintage passenger trains. The make-believe town of Matlin is buried in a blizzard, and throughout the Museum the layouts are adorned with miniature Christmas lights and decorations.
Hours and Admission
Every Saturday from November 8, 2025 to February 28, 2026. Plus the bonus nights listed below. The event runs from 3:00pm to 7pm, and tickets may be purchased online at tcmrm.eventbrite.com or at the door. Kids under the age of 4 are free, adults $15.

- We are slowly switching from Halloween trains to winter decorations and then to Christmas decorations.
- Bonus Night Trains on Black Friday, November 28th from 3-7!
December
- Santa joins us on Dec. 13th and 20th! Get a picture with him and let him know what's on your list!
- Bonus Night Trains Events on the Monday and Friday of the weeks before and during Christmas. (Dec. 19th, 22nd, 26th, 23rd, 29th, and January 2nd)

- Christmas decorations will end January 24th but we will maintain winter decorations through February.
