About

Celebrate Oktoberfest at the Ridge! Join us for this FREE event on Saturday September 28th from 12PM- 5PM. Free activities include mountain based live music, Bavarian treats, yard games, the Bavarian Brewathlon (see more info below), and fun! Plus a ticket can be purchase to take our Castle Danger Mountain Top Beer Tour (see more info below). Make it a whole day and enjoy Honktoberfest activities in Biwabik in the morning and evening and at Oktoberfest at the Ridge in the Afternoon! There will be a shuttle from Giants Ridge to Biwabik for our guests!

Enjoy a scenic chair lift ride on the Sarajevo Express to the top of the hill, then take a short stroll along our hiking trails where you will find 5 stations that have Castle Danger beer samplers paired with our favorite Bavarian Treats. After you've soaks in the breathtaking views from the top of the hill, enjoy another ride down the chair lift back to the base of the hill.

2PM | FREE | REGISTER IN PERSON

Teams of 2-4 compete to become "der Meister". Compete in 5 challenges to rack up the points and score big! Challenges are Axe Throwing (Forge Social Haus), Stein Racing, Keg Rolling, Stein Hoisting (Castle Danger), and the "fan favorite" Sausage Tossing! Winning teams will receive commemorative Oktoberfest Mugs!

At the base of the hill, groove to the rhythms of the Northeast Timber Band, whose captivating tunes will set the perfect backdrop for the day's excitement.
