In the corporate world of the late 1970s, Violet, Judy, and Doralee are fed up with their arrogant, misogynistic boss. When a wild turn of events gives them the chance to take matters into their own hands, they set out to change the office—and their lives—for the better. With music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, 9 to 5 is a laugh-out-loud story of empowerment and unlikely friendship.
