About
From 1976 through 2009, Natalie Cole won 9 Grammy Awards and was nominated 21 times. Over her 40-year career, she released 23 albums and sold more than 30 million copies worldwide.
The Grammy Award–winning daughter of jazz legend Nat King Cole forged her own career in three phases: she began in the ’70s as a soul-rooted artist, had success in the ’80s with pop-oriented R&B, and in the ’90s followed in her father’s footsteps with traditional pop and jazz.
Songs from her first phase include “Mr. Melody,” “Inseparable,” “This Will Be,” “Keeping a Light” and “Annie Mae.” Her ’80s hits include “Pink Cadillac,” “Miss You Like Crazy” and “I Live for Your Love.”
In 1992, with her 12th album Unforgettable, With Love, Natalie won 3 Grammy Awards for Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Traditional Pop Performance. The record featured standards previously performed by her father, including “Paper Moon,” “L-O-V-E,” “Orange Colored Sky” and more.
No matter which era of Natalie Cole you love, this show will move you with outstanding vocals and a stellar band.
