The Monarch Butterfly: How YOU can help!

Join us for Sunday brunch on the lake! Enjoy delicious food and hear from Katie-Lyn Puffer of Monarch Joint Venture.

Monarch Butterflies have caught the hearts and imaginations of many and lots of people want to know what they can do to protect this declining icon of summer in Minnesota. The Monarch Joint Venture will provide an overview of the monarch butterfly life cycle, including their habitat needs and migration, and then cover the status of their population and the different factors that affect them. The presentation will conclude with different actions you can take at home and in your community to help monarchs, from planting habitats to helping scientists learn more about them!
