About
Join us for a delightful tea experience featuring a three-course meal along with a presentation titled "Threads of Time," which delves into the fascinating history of quilting. Every quilt carries a story that reflects the rich history of quilting. From the earliest medallion quilts of the 1800s, through the depression-era quilts of the early 1900s, to the sampler quilts that emerged after the second quilt revival in the 1970s, and continuing to the contemporary quilts of today, each piece represents a unique chapter in this art form. Sharyn Resvick will present a collection of small quilts that represent various styles reflecting over two and a half centuries of quilt-making tradition
Sharyn Resvick is the 2025 Minnesota Quilter of the Year. Her Threads of Time quilt collection has been selected for special exhibits such as the MN State Quilt Show in 2018, the North Dakota Quilting on the Red Quilt Show in 2019, and most recently, at the International Quilt Festival’s 50th Anniversary Show in Houston, TX in 2024. She has enjoyed employment and teaching at several local quilting stores as well as a sewing machine dealership and loves interacting with fellow quilters or sewists!
