About

The two-day festival occurs every third weekend in July. The festival draws thousands of visitors to Downtown Bemidji. The festival, previously known as "Art in the Park" has been expanded to include the Watermark Art Center grounds as well as the historic tree-lined Library Park across the street allowing for more than 100 art vendors, two live music stages, food court & covered picnic area, plus a Creative Zone with demonstrations and free art activities for all ages. The art center itself is open to the public during the festival so visitors can view the galleries, including SHOP 505, the center's retail gallery.
The juried fine art and craft fair has been a summer highlight for Northern Minnesotan residents and tourists since 1967. Vendors sell a wide variety of items including hand-crafted wood items, ceramics, apparel, jewelry, photography, metalworking, greeting cards, homemade preserves, soaps, stained glass, original paintings, garden art and more!

Watermark Art Center is accessible, open to the public with no admission fee Monday - Saturday, 10am - 5pm. For more information regarding events, classes, and exhibits visit WatermarkArtCenter.org or call 218-444-7570.
