This berry picker basket is perfect for beginners! Featuring a square woven base evolving into a round shape, a handle, and a pop of color. The completed basket measures 5” high at the rim and 7” diameter. A kit of pre-measured and marked reeds will be prepared for each student – ready to weave! We’ll start by laying out the base and proceed to lock it in place. You’ll learn to “upset” your base, then the fun begins with a start/stop weaving method. A variety of colors will be available to choose from and a little string of beads can be added, if desired. . We’ll rim the basket and then add the handle. Your basket will be ready for carrying to the berry farm or sitting in your home looking decorative and beautiful!
