? WinterFest 2025 – A Scandinavian Celebration ?

Date: February 15, 2025
Time: 10 am to 3 pm
Location: Tettegouche State Park

Join us for a day of winter magic with a Scandinavian twist! This free event offers something for everyone.

Outdoor Activities:

• • Guided snowshoe hike through snowy trails (limited snowshoes available—please bring your own).
  • Grab your friends and family for a fun game of Kubb.
  • Compete in the Fish Toss at 2:00 pm!
  • Gnome Hunt
  • Troll Toss
  • Warm up with s’mores at the outdoor fireplace.

Indoor Fun:

• • Live music by the Scandinavian Trio will fill the air with Nordic charm.
  • Delight in Scandinavian folk stories during children’s story time.
  •  Make your own Dala horse or Viking ship.
  • Enjoy free popcorn and hot apple cider.
  • Demonstrations on lefse and krumkake making, rosemåling , and chip carving

Food Truck:
Johnny B’s will be on-site with delicious food for purchase.

SCHEDULED ACTIVITIES

• • 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM: Guided Snowshoe Hike. Bring your own Snowshoes. Limited number of snowshoes available. Gather at 10:30. Hike leaves at 11:00
  • 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM: Storytime in the Interpretive Area
  • 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM: Live Music by the Scandinavian Trio in the Visitor Center
  • 2:00 PM: Fish Toss behind the visitor center
