Minnesota has no shortage of great theater. Here are our editors' picks for what to see as 2025 winds down and the local scene welcomes another year of strong touring shows and peerless original productions.

Irving Berlin's White Christmas

Based on the iconic comedy sketch, this show tells the story of a dutiful butler helping his employer celebrate her birthday and features a rotating cast of Twin Cities heavyweights, including Christina Baldwin and Joy Dolo.

A sizzling update of "Taming of the Shrew" featuring some of Cole Porter’s most memorable music will receive a staging from Bloomington’s Artistry.  

The Happiest Man on Earth

JC Culter takes on this one-man adaptation of the beloved Eddie Jaku memoir about surviving Buchenwald and Auschwitz.

The Wooster Group, icons of experimental theater, bring Richard Foreman’s earth-shattering 1988 piece “Symphony of Rats” to the Walker.
