What kid — even us grown-ups — doesn't dream of riding a horse? Here in Minnesota, you'll find plenty of places to mount a steed and enjoy a leisurely ride under the guidance of a wrangler, who can offer basic tips to riding newbies.
Below, you'll find more than a dozen stables around the state, from the edge of the metro area surrounding Minneapolis-St. Paul to the Superior National Forest. And for those lucky enough to have a horse of their own, Minnesota has more than 1,000 riding trails spread throughout the entire state.
