Discover the Magical World of Mermaids
Come face-to-fin with a real
mermaid during this limited time event! Watch in wonder as one swims amongst
the tropical fish of Rainbow Reef, meet a mermaid on dry land, and create a
memory that will last a lifetime! Mermaids are making a splash at 9:30a-2:30p on Thursdays and Fridays,
Sundays and Mondays from July 14 to August 5.
Special Event Tickets required - limited tickets available.
Meals on Heels features food and drinks from top local
restaurants, raffles, entertainment, and the renowned Swank Soles contest which
celebrates the two attendees with the best shoes. Chuck Terhark, co-founder of
Trivia Mafia, will host the event and a special Meals on Wheels-themed game of
trivia this year! All proceeds support Metro Meals on Wheels and the delivery
of 1.5 million healthy meals to seniors and those living with disabilities in

The Long Prairie River Cruise (LPRC) is on Saturday, July 16th. The 8 mi LPRC starts at 10A at the Hwy 29 LPR Access in Carlos and ends at the Belle River bridge. It is part of two days of paddling in the Alexandria Lakes Area called the Big Ole PaddleFest. It is a charitable, adventure paddle on Alexandria's Chain of Lakes and the Long Prairie River. On Fri., July 15th, stand up paddleboarders, kayakers & canoeists paddle scenic lake-to-lake courses of 5, 10 or 17 miles.
