The Maple Grove Arts Council is dedicated to vitalizing the community with the visual and performing arts through awareness, appreciation and participation.

Maple Grove Arts Center

We feature an artist’s gallery and an area for art classes. We host an exciting mix of shows throughout the year featuring artists from Maple Grove and the surrounding area. The arts center also runs the Maple Grove Art Fair and participates in the Halloween and Holiday events that the Arbor Lakes Association sponsors on Main Street. The center presents excellent art classes to both children and adults with qualified art teachers.

Mantrap Lodge

A comfortable & charming wilderness resort dedicted to families, fishing, fun & nature in a private, scenic setting. 16 beautiful housekeeping cabins, A/C, screened porches, historic lodge, fitness center, planned family activities, heated swimming pool, hot tub, guest laundry, bait, gift shop & playground. Mantrap Lake Campground and Day-Use Area

Located in Paul Bunyan State Forest, managed by Itasca State Park. The 36 drive-in campsites are considered "primitive," designed to furnish only the basic needs of the camper. The campsites consist of a cleared area, fire ring, and table. Vault toilets, garbage cans, and drinking water are available. Mantrap Lake is a designated muskie lake. The campground and day use area also offer swimming, water access, fishing, a dock, five picnic sites, and nature trails (1mi).

Mankato Symphony Orchestra

The Mankato Symphony provides emotion packed, high quality performances in a variety of musical genres. Look for performances each month! Many of our family and educational programs are free. The Candy Cane Christmas concert and the Rockin' Fourth of July are annual favorites.

Mankato MoonDogs

The MoonDogs are a member of the Northwoods League, a summer college baseball league. Players come from some of the premier colleges throughout the country to play in a great baseball setting. Games have full concessions, hospitality decks, souvenirs and great giveaways for the kids. It's a great minor league baseball setting with some of the best young talent in the country.
