Bold North Breakaway – Rice Park
The Lanesboro Legion Lights is an outdoor holiday lights display at Sylvan Park in Lanesboro, MN from Thanksgiving through New Years. Set to transform the park into a winter wonderland and become a festive highlight for Southeastern Minnesota.
Fat Pat’s is a restaurant and brewery that serves good beer and traditional Texas-style BBQ, pizza, and burgers in southern Minnesota. Fat Pat’s opened in 2017 but owner, Patrick Longmire Jr., had been honing his smoking skills since 2012 when he was living in BBQ country — Austin, TX.
Visitors can Drive Thru or Walk Thru the exhibits. You may view the show from the parking lot or park on the south shore of Sleepy Eye Lake for a spectacular view across the water.
All displays and trees use energy-efficient LED lights!
It will open Thanksgiving Evening and continue until January 1st. We invite visitors from near and far to enjoy the show. The music will be broadcast on 89.1 on your radio dial.
The 2025 Handmade Neighborhood market has expanded! It features over two dozen different artisans. Their “pop-up shops” will be throughout the History Center in the Slaggie Family Lobby, Wanek Hall, Briarcombe Room, and the spaces in between.
