High on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River, scenic overlooks are easily reached by walking trails and offer a chance to get away in the quiet bluff country. Oak-hickory woods, pine plantations and goat prairies provide excellent birding, scenery, hiking on over 6 miles of trails and 9 miles of mostly intermediate level cross-country ski trails. A quiet park ideal for bird watching, hiking, and camping.
Great River Arts is a nonprofit arts organization serving the greater Morrison County area. We offer a variety of artistic experiences; from live theater and music performances to continuous visual art exhibits, as well as art classes for youth and adults.

The Hilltop Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS), and the Great Northern Union (GNU) chorus, were founded in 1985 with a single vision, “Fun through musical excellence”. Today that vision remains the guiding light through which the chapter strives to do everything with “excellence”.

GLA is home to a variety of species found primarily in the Great Lakes Basin. Additional exhibits showcase animals from both freshwater and marine habitats around the world.
