Andrew J. Volstead House Museum

Andrew J. Volstead was a Congressman in the early 20th Century, he wrote the Capper-Volstead Act which allowed co-operatives to operate as they do today. He also wrote the Prohibition Act. His wife Nellie Volstead was active in the women's suffrage movement . Their home is a National Landmark. Suggested donation of $5 each for tours, free to members of the Granite Falls Historical Society. Open seasonally in the summer months. 

Andiamo Italian Ristorante

Fresh, flavorful Italian food from your second family! Andiamo is a family-oriented Italian restaurant from Ramon Ruiz, the former Executive Chef at St. Paul's Buca di Beppo. "Our biggest distinction from national Italian restaurant chains is that we are a neighborhood family spot before anything else. Those places focus on events and special occasions as an excuse to indulge. That marketing tactic is based entirely on the fact that those places are generally expensive and culturally over-whelming in a way that doesn't seem to reflect Italian culture.

Andes Tower Hills Ski Area

15 runs ranging from beginner to expert. 2 triple chair lifts, 1 quad chair lift, 1 surface lift. Terrain park. Also, snow tubing area with 2 handle lifts.
15k of cross-country trails, ranging from beginner to advanced. All trails are groomed for skating and classical.
Great food and full menu at Whispering Pines Grill. Whispering Pines Grill is also available for catering.
