Girlhood (It's complicated) Book Club: The Girl in Building C

The Minnesota History Center is hosting Girlhood (It’s complicated), an exhibit created by the National Museum of American History and the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service. Featuring interactive displays, media components, and over 100 objects from the Smithsonian collection, this powerful exhibit explores how young women have continuously influenced politics, education, work, health, and fashion.

Women Unite the Cities Conversation

Join Verna Volker, from the Navajo Nation, for an evening learning about her journey from a newbie runner to a marathoner to an ultra-marathoner. Along the way, her journey exposed the lack of representation for Native women in the sport, so she founded Native Women Run, whose mission is to feature more Native (Indigenous) women in the running community on and off the reservation.
