MNmicro Film Festival: Black History

The Twin Cities Film Festival celebrates the diversity of our local cultural heritage through a series of MNmicro Film Festivals. Join them this February for their festival focusing on Black History. They will be showcasing 5 feature presentations by local filmmakers. There will be red carpet filmmaker interviews, post film discussions, and a Black History Celebration Mixer. Films include: My Story, My Truth; Black; 39 Seconds; Out of Time; and A Letter to Bryson. All screenings are free.

LUVERNE'S TOUR DE LOOP

Enjoy a ride on Luverne's LOOP during the family-friendly 7 mile bike ride event starting at 4 pm. Free registration for adults and children with prizes and gift give-away for participants.

JAZZMN Orchestra feat. Morgan James

Since its inception, the JazzMN Orchestra has presented over eighty concerts in its main series. Also, many additional performances at festivals around the Twin Cities. The music performed by the JazzMN Orchestra spans from the beginnings of jazz to contemporary works by today’s composers. The Orchestra has featured international jazz artists like Randy Brecker, Kurt Elling, Mike Stern, Arturo Sandoval, Gordon Goodwin, Phil Woods, Nicholas Payton and Paquito D’Rivera.

Hornucopia - A Tribute to the Great Horn Bands

Back for the third year at the Music Factory, Hornucopia is an innovative band that pays tribute to the horn music of the rock and pop eras. Featuring many of your favorite artists including Blood Sweat & Tears, Chicago and other bands with horns from the Rock era, Hornucopia promises a unique and unforgettable experience guaranteed to leave audiences wanting more.

Performing at numerous events and venues across Minnesota and beyond, Hornucopia has become a respected and much-requested act, especially here at the Music Factory!

Fire & Ice Winter Festival

The free event offers a variety of winter activities, including ice skating, sledding, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Attendees can wander through the snow village or gather in a heated tent for activities such as BINGO and DJ-led music. Children may enjoy a snow play area and photo opportunities at the llama meet-and-greet.

Edwin McCain

Edwin McCain is back with Lucky, his first album of new material in fifteen years! Lucky features classic Edwin McCain songwriting and soulful performances. Additionally, guest vocal appearances by Brice, Matt Ramsey of Old Dominion, and Rebecca Lynn Howard.

Cider North

When the season of lights darkens, it's good to know there's more fun on the horizon. We're bringing back the warm, cider-infused patio vibe of Cider North. Attendees sip delicious and unique ciders from across the state while enjoying a laid-back atmosphere with good food, comfortable lawn furniture, and yard games! February needs a sip of summer hanging out.All ticket holders will receive a Cider North sampling glass, as well as unlimited samples.
