Christmas with Lorie Line

The tradition continues! Lorie Line returns to the stage as a solo pianist and celebrates the Christmas season with faith-filled stories and the best-of-the-best holiday music. This year’s tour marks her 36th year of touring. As always, expect beautiful costumes, elegant piano arrangements, funny stories, and personal tender words that reflect the true meaning of Christmas as she brings her concert grand piano to the center stage.

Back again for the holidays, some of Minnesota’s favorite musicians come together for a special seasonal collaboration you won’t want to miss. This festive celebration features standout vocalists Mary Jane Alm, Aimée Lee and Boyd Lee, along with Prairie Home Companion regulars Richard Kriehn, Gary Raynor, Joe Savage and Peter Johnson. This year’s special guest is Minnesota’s beloved storyteller Kevin Kling, adding his signature charm to an evening full of music, laughter and holiday spirit.

Chris Cain

Chris Cain was born in San Jose, California in 1955. His parents were huge music fans and shared their love of blues, jazz and popular songs with Chris. Then, Chris saw B.B. King when he was three years old. His father gave him his first guitar at age eight and Chris learned lick after lick, song after song. There, he would listen to his father’s records over and over until the music had seeped into his soul.

Charlie Parr

In the music of Charlie Parr, there is a sincere conviction and earnest drive to create. The Minnesota-born guitarist, songwriter and interpreter of traditional music has released nineteen albums over two decades. Also, he has been known to perform up to 275 shows a year. Parr is a folk troubadour in the truest sense: taking to the road between shows, writing and rewriting songs as he plays. Further, he is fueled by a belief that music is eternal and cannot be claimed or adequately explained.
