Celebrate the start of the holiday season with a charming evening of lights, music, and community at Light Up Victoria. Taking place in downtown Victoria, this annual event brings residents and visitors together for a festive night filled with seasonal activities, local shopping, and winter cheer.

Halloween in Victoria

Get ready for a fun-filled, family-friendly day on the Saturday before Halloween, as the Victoria Lions Club and Victoria Business Association invite you to enjoy a community-wide celebration! Start by trick-or-treating at participating businesses in the Victoria business district from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., where local businesses will be handing out sweet treats to all ages. Then head over to Bayfront Park from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. for exciting games and activities hosted by the Victoria Lions Club!

Afternoon by the Lake Concert Series

Thursdays, June 26, July 10, and August 7, 2025. This afternoon music series features a fantastic mix of children's entertainment and live music during lunch time at the Charlson Thun Community Bandstand in Bayfront Park. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Stieger Lake, it's the ideal way to unwind, enjoy the fresh air, and get the wiggles out.

MN Original Music Festival Main Stage Concert Series

The Minnesota Original Music Festival Main Stage Concert Series is a free music event showcasing the talents of Minnesota musicians that perform original music. The festival takes place in beautiful Saint Peter, Minnesota over two days, Saturday, July 19 through Sunday, July 20. A variety of artists will perform music in a variety of musical genres that include, Americana, Jazz, Electronic, Pop, Punk, Funk, Hip Hop, Tex-Mex, Rock, Reggae & Ska.

Artist Statement:
"I retired from Transportation Consulting in 2015. At that time, my wife and I relocated from the Twin Cities to Duluth since our two sons attended the University of Minnesota Duluth and settled in the area. We wanted to be closer to our kids and our now six grandchildren.

Elvis Costello & The Imposters With Charlie Sexton

The Radio Soul!: The Early Songs of Elvis Costello tour features songs drawn from the records My Aim Is True released in 1977 to Blood & Chocolate from 1986, along with other exciting surprises. This prolific time period includes some of Costello’s most renowned compositions, including Watching The Detectives and I Want You. Costello performs with his longtime companions The Imposters—drummer Pete Thomas, pianist Steve Nieve, and bassist Davey Faragher—with their special guest, Texas guitarist Charlie Sexton.

Join authors Teresa Peterson and Walter LaBatte Jr. as they discuss their book, Voices From Pejuhutazizi: Dakota Stories and Storytellers at Jeffers Petroglyphs.

Choreographer Aszure Barton and award-winning composer Ambrose Akinmusire, two visionaries in their fields, created multidisciplinary, multidimensional A a | a B : B E N D, a Northrop Centennial Commission. For this evening-length work, the dancers, Akinmusire, and members of the audience share space for the performance—with a choice of seating onstage (Price 1) or on the orchestra level (Prices 2 & 3) of the theater.
