2024 FALL FEST

It's that time of year again! Join us at the History Center October 17th from 1PM-4PM for a variety of engaging fall activities! From crafts and concessions to pumpkin painting and more, we've got so much to do and see for kids of all ages!

Adults are free with children just $5.00 each. No registration needed but there is a limited supply of goodies, so be sure to visit early.

Wildlife Festival

Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge and the Friends of Sherburne invite families and nature enthusiasts to the 29th Annual Wildlife Festival on Saturday, September 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Oak Savanna Learning Center. This free event celebrates National Wildlife Refuge Week (Oct. 13-19), Urban National Wildlife Refuge Day (Oct. 12), National Public Lands Day (Sept. 28) and all the wildlife that calls Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge home.

V Gees- A Bee Gees Tribute

The V Gees are seven musicians from some of the Twin Cities’ hottest cover bands that joined forces to pay homage to the Bee Gees, while injecting fresh vibes into their timeless tunes.The V Gees are super excited to debut their full show at this historic venue. Come enjoy the sights and sounds of the Bee Gees catalog with a lil’ history with a lot of surprises and fun along the way. Join them for an awesome evening of music…and keep local, live music stayin’ alive!

Tricks & Treats at SEA LIFE at Mall of America!

Discover the Tricks & Enjoy the Treats! Explore kid-friendly Halloween fun during Tricks & Treats, SEA LIFE at Mall of America's creepiest event of the year! Wear your costume and snap some selfies with creepy creatures as you enjoy BOO-tiful decor throughout the aquarium! Find out if you're brave enough to touch sticky sea anemones and slimy sea stars in the Interactive Touchpool, and learn all about scary creatures like batfish, wolf eels, moon jellies and more!

Spotlight Science: FungiFest

Uncover a hidden world with Minnesota’s fungi fans! Join the Minnesota Mycological Society in celebrating 125 years of this educational organization dedicated to the study of mushrooms and other fungi, serving amateur and expert alike.

The History of Barbershop Music & the Sweet Adelines (In person only)

Come learn about the history of barbershop music in general and Sweet Adelines specifically from one of the founding members of the local chapter and her quartet on January 23, 2025, at 7pm. Interwoven with the history of this uniquely American artform, going back to the 1800's, will be songs, both old and new, performed by The Lady Slippers.

Ruthie Foster - Album Release

Ruthie Foster has been nominated for a Best Blues Album Grammy three times in a row. She has seven Blues Music Awards, three Austin Music Awards, the Grand Prix du Disque award from the Académie Charles-Cros in France, a Living Blues Critics’ Award for Female Blues Artist of the Year, and the title of an “inspiring American Artist” as a United States Artists 2018 Fellow.
