Every year on March 17, the World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade briefly takes place in downtown Hopkins.

The parade, which is open to anyone, is set for March 17, 2026. The parade begins at 4 p.m. (line up begins at 3:45 p.m.) and travels the four blocks between the:

As Urban Observers, they give themselves permission to slow down, to play, and to truly notice. Through their individual perspectives, they explore the quiet stories found in everyday city life—each capturing moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Taking place over four Wednesday lunch hours, these concerts offer an opportunity to hear talented local musicians. Best of all, they’re free and open to everyone.
