Going Out, Coming In, Walking Tour

Take a guided walking tour of LGBTQIA+ community spaces in Downtown Minneapolis. Visit a selection of the sites highlighted in the exhibit, Going Out, Coming In: LGBTQ+ Spaces in Downtown Minneapolis. Hear the stories of queer resistance, love, and identity formation amid the evolution of the neighborhood through the 20th century. The tour includes about 2 miles of moderately-paced walking.

Downtown Art Fair

The Downtown Art Fair is an annual community celebration of art and creativity! This festive outdoor event includes dozens of local artist vendors with handmade and one-of-a-kind items in jewelry, pottery, painting, fiber arts, glass blowing, woodworking, and many other mediums. There is also live music, food trucks, artist demos, lawn games, and free hands-on art activities for all ages. The Downtown Art Fair is free and open to all!

Cheese & Beer Flight Pairings

Are you a cheese lover on the lookout for your next cheesy experience?! Join us and the Grater Good on April 16 for a cheese an craft beer pairing rundown featuring a cheese and beer flight!

You'll learn about how each cheese is made and the farms and creameries they're being sourced from. This class includes a flight of six cheeses and flight of four beers for $40!

Baseball & Fireworks

Head over to Tuffy's Stadium at Al Krueger Field for the annual Baseball game and Fireworks show put on by the Perham Athletics Association. Baseball in the evening and fireworks start at dusk!

Artist Reception for Linnea Rose

Come and meet artist, Linnea Borealis Rose at the Tettegouche Visitor Center on May 2nd at 7 pm. Linnea will present her show, "Along the Superior Hiking Trail" that was inspired by her backpacking journeys between Tettegouche and Cascade River State Parks. Linnea's work will be on display for the month of May.
