35th Anniversary of Killing Time Country legend Clint Black will be at Vetter Stone Amphitheater on Friday, September 6. For the first time ever, he’ll play the groundbreaking record "Killing Time" from start to finish followed by more of his legendary hits.
Avian Night Sky
Artists MaryBeth Garrigan and Petra Johnita Lommen have teamed up for Avian Night Sky, a new exhibit at Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. The display honors our night skies and highlights the increasing light pollution that threatens to damage them.
There will be a star party/closing reception on Friday, September 13 from 7-9 P.M.
Williams Arena
Originally opened in 1928, "The Barn" has undergone major renovations, making the arena not just one of the oldest and traditional buildings in the country, but one of the most complete and cutting-edge. Prior to the 2013-14 season, the arena received a makeover as center-hung LED scoreboards, LED fascia boards and sound systems were installed.

3M Arena at Mariucci
Thirty years after the new 3M Arena at Mariucci first graced the campus of the University of Minnesota, fans and players alike still are amazed by the breathtaking beauty of a sold-out Mariucci and the atmosphere it provides. In 1993, the old Mariucci Arena, located in front of Williams Arena, took on a whole new face when it relocated just north of its old home. 3M Arena at Mariucci brought a new look to Golden Gopher hockey, not only from the outside, but inside as well.
