The Waseca County Historical Society is thrilled to announce the opening of its newest exhibit, "Snake Oil: The Dark Side of Early Minnesota Medicine," on September 17th at the Minnesota History Center. This captivating exhibit delves into the questionable medical practices that were rampant in Minnesota around 100 years ago, providing a fascinating look at the era's unregulated treatments and the notorious snake oil shows that captivated and confused the public.
The Summertime by George! Final concert is rescheduled for TUESDAY, Sept. 3!! Opening act Walter’s Wheelhouse will take the stage at 5 p.m. with the The Fabulous Armadillos/Collective Unconscious: A Doobie Brothers & Eagles Tribute performing at 6:30 p.m. The raffle drawing will take place that evening and the concert will conclude at 9 p.m. Come and enjoy a great night of entertainment, food, beverages and community!
