“Merry Christmas from José James” raises the bar for the contemporary Christmas show. James combines the classic jazz-crooner elegance of Frank Sinatra and Nat “King” Cole with the earthy sophistication of soul legends Stevie Wonder and Donny Hathaway. Further, James breathes new life into much-loved holiday classics such as “The Christmas Song”, “White Christmas” and “Let it Snow”. Moreover, the show will feature new compositions by James and his partner Talia Billig.

Kota The Friend

KOTA The Friend is a hip-hop artist and musician from Brooklyn, NY. He found his love for music and hip hop, R&B, jazz and soul music at an early age. This occurred during the infamous 90’s era. Here, at age 8, he joined his school’s music program and excelled as a trumpet player. In high school KOTA was the leader of the trumpet section while teaching himself to play the guitar and piano. During this time, he also picked up two weekend jobs to build a home studio.

Kindred the Family Soul

Kindred the Family Soul is a Grammy-nominated adult contemporary R&B duo from Philadelphia consisting of husband-and-wife Fatin Dantzler and Aja Graydon. Big hit singles elude them, but they maintain a strong following that appreciates their unwavering dedication to releasing relatable, mature R&B. Also, Dantzler and Graydon co-write most of their songs, which are rooted in traditional soul and gospel. Dantzler and Graydon began as solo performers.

Joe Pug & Robert Ellis

Joe Pug is a singer-songwriter known for his lyrical acumen and plaintive harmonica style. Pug dropped out of college and moved to Chicago, working as a carpenter before he broke into the city’s music scene. Since 2008 he has released a string of critically acclaimed albums and toured heavily in the U.S. and abroad.
