Explore over 65 examples of Folsom family handwriting from the (1830-1950s), analyzed and displayed throughout their 1855 home.

Ignite the Night

Welcome to an awe-inspiring event where adults come together to unleash their imagination and craftsmanship through PLAY! Sparking their inner child, teams of 6 will use an array of loose parts to design and build extraordinary exhibits. Spectators are invited to witness their craft firsthand, cheering them on as they bring their visions to life. With interactive experiences, themed challenges, and opportunities for collaboration, this event promises to ignite creativity and foster teamwork like never before.

History a la Golf Cart Tour

Hop aboard for a personal, staff-guided golf cart tour through the many stories of Fort Snelling’s past. Your tour will explore the restored 19th century stone fort from the comfort of a golf cart, as well as some of the surrounding area.

Make sure to leave time to explore our new visitor center, which includes our new feature exhibit Many Voices, Many Stories, One Place, restroom access, museum store, and grab-n-go refreshments.

Teddy Bear Park

The award-winning park is a paradise for toddlers up to age seven. Kids can climb on giant teddy bears, a train, and a tree house with slides.
