In The Woods Campground

In The Woods is an overnight and seasonal campground located outside Walker, Minnesota and within a mile of Leech Lake.  Tucked away on 32 acres, this campground offers larger than average campsites with ample amount of green space to allow for your boat, ATV or other recreational equipment, each site has its own firepit and picnic tables to enjoy your days and nights.  We offer convenient access to nearby lakes, walking/riding trails, gaming, events in the beautiful city of Walker, concerts, and much, much, more!

Grand Rapids Escape Room for the summer is hosting "Bigfoot's Backyard". Is Bigfoot a friendly creature?  Our backyard is a daunting foe of trees and trails where anyone can get lost!  Can you help Bigfoot find his son before he is captured? Bring your team of friends and family and test your skills before your hour is up. Can reserve your hour after hours with 4 or more people.

Want to see Voyageurs National Park? We offer boat tours! Choose a day tour, sunset tour, or stargazing tour that's fully customizable to what you'd like to see. Trips can include Kettle Falls, Anderson Bay, Harry Oveson Fish Camp, Camp Marston, and other historic sites. See gold mine shafts, wildlife, islands, and more! 

Snow and ice doesn't stop us either! We can also offer snowmobile tours during the winter.

Step into a winter wonderland and experience the magic of the season guided along a trail lined with flickering luminaries as you snowshoe through quiet woods and sparkling snow. Come enjoy the peaceful beauty of a winter night,

Stop by the Lavinia Group Camp to warm up around a cozy campfire and at the Visitor Center for live music, hot cocoa and other refreshments.

Bring your own snowshoes or a limited quantity will be available to rent at the park office at $6 per pair.
