Miss Iz Ice Cream

Miss Iz Ice Cream & Soda Pop Shop is located in the Ramsey, MN near the corner of Bunker Lake Blvd and St Francis Blvd. We take pride in serving a small, curated selection of ice cream, treats, and soda pop to encourage discovery. The 1950's inspired dining experience encourages customers to take a step back in time through our classic diner inspired retro setting that is fun for everyone. Stop in to enjoy ice cream by the cone, cup, or glass with family, friends, or for date night.

Olcott Park Greenhouse

The City of Virginia Greenhouse is owned by the City of Virginia and operated with support from the non-profit Friends of the Greenhouse.

The Greenhouse has been a local attraction since 1935. Citizens and tourists enjoy viewing a variety of tropical plants during all seasons, and especially the comfort and warmth of this unique green space during the long winter months.

Wilder Pageant

The Wilder Pageant is a family-oriented outdoor drama based on the life of Laura Ingalls Wilder in Walnut Grove.  

It is a live performance each night with all characters from the Walnut Grove area.

Laura narrates the story, reflecting on her life in Walnut Grove in the 1870’s.

The hillside amphitheater has been developed to allow for extensive lighting, sound, and special effects.

Music in the Gardens

Enjoy live music throughout the summer on the Newton Dining Terrace just outside of Rootstock. Local bands and community groups will perform on Thursday evenings from 6-7:30 p.m. and Sunday afternoons from 1:30-3 p.m. Terrace tables will be available for seating. Check out the schedule!
