The First Stage Gallery & Lyric Center for the Arts

The mission of the Lyric Center for the Arts is to provide arts and educational opportunities to children and adults while renovating the historic Lyric Building. The Lyric is a 1912 Opera House designed by Ellerby, Round and Sullivan. The Lyric presents musical and theatrical performances in the Lyric Annex throughout the year. B'nai Abraham Museum and Cultural Center

The B'nai Abraham Synagogue, built in 1909-10, was the las remaining active synagogue on the Iron Range. It was acquired in 2004 by Friends of B'nai Abraham. Under their oversight, restoration of the building is history of Virginia's Jewish community and provides a local venue for summer musical and cultural events.
