Minnesota's Spookiest Sites

Anoka may be the Halloween Capital of the World, but it’s not the only spine-chilling destination in Minnesota. Paranormal encounters have been reported in every corner of the state, from the belly of a Duluth ship to the Minneapolis concert hall where Prince made his shimmering debut. Even people who don’t believe in ghosts have detailed unusual sightings and other hair-raising experiences at local theaters, hotels and historic landmarks.

Here are nine spooky spots to get your thrills — if you dare.

Duluth's Haunted Ship

Come celebrate 30 years of Duluth Haunted Ship!

It's Spooky Season, meaning it's time to brave the only Haunted Ship in Minnesota -- all 700ft of it! This haunt uses 50 actors (graduates of Scare School), professional makeup artists, AND sends its set designers to Haunt Conventions to gather the latest tricks of the trade.

This unhallowed haunted tour starts Friday, October 3, and runs Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays through Halloween. Plus MEA Wednesday!
