Annual Veterans Day Observance

27th Annual Veterans Day Observance
November 9-11th from 8am-8pm
at the Willmar City Auditorium

Annual display honoring the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans. Over 7000 original military items on display from the Civil War Through Modern Day. Stories and histories of the veterans who used them also on display.

Display is open 8am to 8pm all three days.
All are welcome.
Free admission, but a free will donation is accepted.

There will be a program on Nov. 11th at 7:30pm.

Shop Small Saturday

Small Business Saturday is November 29th, 2025! Shop the deals around town, support our local small businesses, and partake in the Hallmark activities to make the day extra special!

Trunk or Treat

Bring the kids out to take part in Halloween fun in Appleton! Wear your best costume and get some candy at trunk or treat!

Second Time Around

Located in Kasson's Historic Old City Hall building.  Come shop vintage goods and antiques from multiple vendors!

ABOUT TONY SAKER...

Tony can’t stay idle for long. Many years ago, he transformed a stale business into a thriving sports bar and grill and event center. Today, the restaurant is open 7 days a week to the public and the event center hosts weddings and parties throughout the year.

Tony got the desire to own a restaurant from one of his uncles that owned a restaurant in Mankato- which is still there today. Tony started working at that restaurant when he was just 12 years old. He loved working there and learned all he could about the restaurant business.

Christmas Plus Bazaar

Since 1977, Perham’s Women of Focus has gathered talented crafters from around the area for their annual Christmas Plus Bazaar. In 2021, the tradition continues with the LAPS taking over the event planning. These talented crafters display and sell a wide variety of handmade arts and crafts for the holiday season.

The Christmas Bazaar is always the first Saturday in November. (It does not necessarily land on the first weekend of hunting each year.)

Thalmann’s is a full-time, year-round guide service that specializes in trophy panfish based in Otter Tail County, Minnesota. With over 1,000 lakes in the area, we are fortunate to be surrounded by some of the most premier fishing opportunities in the state. Don’t miss Atwater’s Oktoberfest event filled with events for the whole family! Activities include a Kids Color Fun Run/Walk, a Kids Kickball Tournament, Teen Laser Tag, Hayrides, Car Show, Craft Vendors, Stein Holding Competition, Lots of Delicious Food & a street dance!

This year the Atwater Committee is hosting a bean bag torunament, 100% payout plus the Atwater Festival Committee will kick in $200.00 to the pot!
