We boast trophy walleye, perch and northern fishing. Lake of the Woods has a claim to the largest walleye caught in a PWT tournament to date. We are a 4 season resort with many options. We have guided charter fishing or small boat rental, fall deer, bear, duck and grouse hunting.
Zig's is named after Haas "Zig" Ziegler who developed the nine-hole golf course at Ruttger's in 1921. Zig convinced Alec Ruttger that a golf course would be a great attraction to offer his guests when the fishing on Bay Lake was slow...smart guy. You can take it all in from Zig's and Zig's patio. Enjoy burgers, sandwiches, salads, steaks, cocktails and more in a relaxed casual setting.
