We are a family-owned and operated Apple orchard in southwest Minnesota. We have different apple varieties, pumpkins, squash, and a gift shop to find those one-of-a-kind gifts. Holmberg Orchard was founded in 1987 by Lee and Sindie Holmberg. In 2020, David and Rosie Petty purchased the Orchard and are proud to bring the Orchard back to life. Our goals were to provide the best quality apples for our area, help others grow apples, and create a wonderful family experience for our customers. We are a small family business and with the help of our children, grandchildren, and wonderful friends have created a business in which we take pride. We started by planting 300 apple trees and have continued to add every year with the latest and greatest varieties. We now have over 1000 trees and are always growing. The best part of our business is seeing our customers return year after year and watching their children grow.
We wear so many many hats, that it isn’t always easy to pin down what we do! Throughout the season we grow cut flowers and salad greens, harvest fruit for pies, crisps, and our vast array of jam, and steward these 50 acres, including ornamental gardens.
The farmstore is a portion of our old Yankee barn from the 1800s. Through those doors you’ll find apples, jam, pies, etc. along with goods and goodies from other local producers such as honey, maple syrup, crafts, and more.

UnWined Up North is a Minnesota-focused wine bar offering wine, taps, bottles and cans from all over our wonderful state. We pride ourselves on working closely and almost exclusively with Minnesota-based brands, creators, and companies. Owners Tracy & Troy Heald, along with their children, Taylor, Tristin, & Tiana Heald have operated the 100 acre farm, bakery and gift shop located on Interstate 94 outside of Alexandria, MN since 2009.
Bridgewater Farm Pumpkin Patch is a 3rd generation family farm specializing in fall fun! We are open weekends beginning September 24, 2022 running through October 30, 2022. We are open Saturdays and Sundays 11am-6pm. We are also open for MEA Bonus days Thursday, October 20 and Friday, October 21 from 12pm-5pm.
