In April of 2018 the dream of Spiral Brewery came to fruition when their door first opened to the public with the mission to "brew community through quality beer and rich history". Spiral Brewery is nestled in the quaint downtown district of Hastings, MN. The brewery is named after the historic and iconic Spiral Bridge that spanned the Mississippi River until 1950. As a destination brewery and taproom, Spiral Brewery invites everyone to join their community.

10 modern housekeeping cabins located on remote wilderness lake. Cabins include everything form linens to full cooking facilities. We are located on the north end of Spider Lake in the beautiful Chippewa National Forest. The lake contains a variety of fish including perch, sunfish, crappie, large and small mouth bass, walleye, northern and muskie. Spider Lake has miles of unspoiled shoreline and an abundance of wildlife. Located in the Chippewa National Forest, there are miles of scenic hiking and biking trails with bountiful wildlife.
The Spider Lake Trails travel 29 miles throughout Foot Hills State Forest. From smooth and sandy to rough and rocky, the trails provide a challenging ride as they curve around lakes and ponds, follow ridges, and traverse several hills and slopes throughout the forest. Trails are open year-round, except on groomed, signed snowmobile trails.
Spider Lake Resort has nine cabins and fourteen campsites. The cabins are fully furnished with kitchen and bathrooms. The campsites have electricity hookup availability. The resort also has a lodge that offers an array of services to include snacks, drinks (pop and beer), fishing licenses and gasoline. We have our own private beach with swimming raft. We also have our own boat access. So no need to go to the public access ramp.
24km of groomed cross country ski trails located 4 mi. south of Maplewood State Park. Groomed for skate and classical skiing. Trails run through hilly oak and maple woods. Ski rental, snack bar, trail maps and restrooms are available at ski shop. Trails for beginners to expert.
The Spicer Commercial Club's membership consists of businesses in and surrounding the City of Spicer. The club plays an integral role in the development of the Winter
Fest and the Spicer 4th of July celebration. New members
are always welcome.
