Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary
Without a doubt, this is the best place in North America to observe and photograph wild black bears!
Operated by The American Bear Association, the Sanctuary is comprised of many habitats: aspen forests, cedar swamps, marshes, beaver ponds, a primary stream, and meadows.
Visitors observe and learn about the elusive black bear from naturalists that answer questions and explain bear behavior as it happens. Our raised observation deck gives visitors a 360 degree view of forest and meadow.

Village of Yesteryear
A village of 15 structures reminiscent of the 1800's. The centerpiece of the village is the Dunnell Mansion built in 1868. Other buildings include a church, 2 cabins, depot, fire hall, general store, professional building, town hall, school, blacksmith and farm equipment building, carriage house, and press building which is also the location of the Emporium Gift Shop. The buildings are completely furnished and are situated around a central park encircled by a boardwalk.
Vikre Distillery
Generations ago, our Norwegian ancestors discovered a familiar beauty in the Northwoods of Minnesota. In its wildness and purity they felt at home. Vikings Museum
The Minnesota Vikings Museum is a place for Vikings fans and Legends alike to experience the comprehensive history of the Minnesota Vikings and football in Minnesota. Five classes of racing held every SA at 5:30 PM. Double-headers on Memorial, 4th of July & Labor Day weekends. Huge year-ending Viking Fall Classic held the second weekend in October.
