Minnesota Valley State Trail
About
The Minnesota Valley State Trail goes through the Minnesota Valley State Recreation Area and runs parallel to the Minnesota River. During the summers, hikers enjoy a 47 mile trails, bikers enjoy riding on the 6 miles paved section of the trail from Chaska to Belle Plaine, mountain bikers enjoy the 35 miles of trail and horseback riders enjoy their 30 miles of trail. The diverse landscapes include wetlands, floodplain forest and bluff top oak savanna.
Rates
MN Ski pass and Horse pass is required for all cross country skiers and horseback riders ages 16 and over. Passes are available at the DNR Information Center, 651-296-6157 or 888-646-6367.
