About
Central Square is a permanent, municipal, non-profit center. Our building is the original Glenwood High School, a restored, historic landmark now under the care and guidance of Central Square, Inc, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering community through the arts and community events.
Central Square is home to concerts, theater productions, a variety of community events, art galleries, exhibitions, art classes, individual businesses, and more. We collect, preserve, and exhibit objects of historical and aesthetic importance for the benefit of present and future generations. In addition, through the use of the permanent collection and special exhibitions, educational programs are provided for all ages that encourage and promote the advancement, understanding, enjoyment and diffusion of knowledge of the visual and performing arts in our region.
