The Chocolate Ox is Nisswa's specialty candy and ice cream store, now with two locations in Nisswa. The original store is located on Main Street and the Paul Bunyan Trail in downtown Nisswa. The newest location is at Grand View Lodge Resort on Gull Lake, adjacent to the Historic Main Lodge. The shops are filled to the brim with chocolates, homemade fudge, truffles, bulk candies, saltwater taffy, Jelly Belly candy, nostalgic bottled sodas, and just about anything else to please your sweet tooth! You will want to try at least a few of their 28 flavors of ice cream. Land of 10,000 Treats for you to enjoy!
Dates
Open mid-April through December 31st.
In Spring, Fall, and Winter, the store is generally open on weekends, 10 am until 5 pm.
In the Summer, we're open daily until 9 pm.
