Detroit Mountain is a 501(c)3 non-profit 4-Season Recreation Area in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
During the winter season Detroit Mountain is home to the SCHEELS Terrain Park which boasts many features and jumps to test the abilities of all Skier and Snowboarder types with its very own high speed tow rope. Detroit Mountain has 21 runs to explore with 2 triple chairlifts and 2 Magic Carpets in the Learn to Ski and Ride area featuring Terrain Based Learning.
DM also hosts the Landslide Tubing Park with it's own Magic Carpet. The beautiful lodge with a cafe that hosts a variety of food options and the Ace's Wild Bar is perfect for Apres Ski socializing. DMRA also grooms around 9k of nordic ski trails. Fat Bikes are available for Winter Rental to ride on our groomed Fat Bike loop.
Throughout Summer Months, Detroit Mountain Recreation Area features professionally designed mountain biking trails. Enjoy XC contour flow trails, lift accessed downhill gravity trails, Skills Park, Strider Adventure Zone, Natural Play Area and more! Trek bikes available for rent.
